Joseph Addison better known as “Killbeatz”, is easily one of the most wanted men in the African music industry. For those who do not know him (shame on you man is pretty much a living legend in Ghana), but just in case you needed a reminder hits include hit singles such as: “Slow Down” featuring Wizkid and “Kiss Your Hand”featuring Wande Coal, “Antenna” for Fuse ODG and Sakordie's “Rap Attack”. Earlier in the year a track titled Bibia Be Be Ye but a little known artist Ed Sheeran began making waves (it's Ed Sheeran it was bound to see some light) this takes nothing away from the work KillBeatz did on the record but it just goes to show you what the power of collaboration can do. A lot of people didn't know who KillBeatz was internationally, I'm sure that's a different story now.
“Bibia Be Be Ye” has gone to sell over 1.9 million copies world wide and The British Official Music Charts Company essentially the UK equivalent of America's Billboard charts has award KillBeatz with a plaque for his single reaching number one. We hope seeing this continues to inspire a lot of young artists to push harder creativity and don't be afraid to reach out and collaborate.
