Jaden Smith stars in a new anime series created by Vampire Weekend lead singer Ezra Koeing. (Yes we know what some of you are thinking but give it a chance it's not out yet). Neo Yokio which borrows it's style from the Shonen genre (Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Death Note, and Tengen Toppa Gurren are a few examples of Shonen grenre shows)  in the anime world follows the life of Kaz Khan a bored bachelor in the city of made up city Neo Yokio and judging from the trailer it has a lot of Modern elements but most of us really couldn't figure out what the show would be about yet. All we know of his Kaz is some sort of demon slayer.

What we can tell you for sure though is the cast for this series is insane. Quite a few of us watch anime and amongst us we agreed we've never heard of a more famous line up for a show. Some names include: Deus and Marco from Viceland, Willow Smith, Stephen Fry, Steve Buscemi, and Oscar winner Susan Sarandon.

For all you Otaku's (Stans for anime and manga) itching to pick up your phone and scream Hollywood isn't repping anime properly Neo Yokio was made in collaboration with anime studios Production IG and Studio Deen, in collabo with Seoul-based animation house MOI. The show's storyboard artists include Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Mobile Suit Gundam UnicornHunter x HunterRurouni Kenshin) and Junji Nishimura (Ranma 1/2Urusei YatsuraPro Golfer Saru).
